Their crystal skins glisten in the light Crafted in beauty worthy of gods Yet their bodies twisted and writhed Seem to speak of a different tale
Their eyes are open, clear as day But their sight is shut, sealed by darkness Light pulsates from them a sign of life But deep inside their hearts had all but died
For burdened by a despair brought by fate They know nought of their former lives All that is left of them in these temple grounds Are nothing more than shells Husks cursed to roam the world Forbidden to seek salvation
